On 3/17/18, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a home on Stafford Farm Blvd in Jay in reference to an attempted murder by arson.
The fire was investigated by the Bureau of Fire and Arson Investigations. The detective from the Bureau advised deputies the fire inside the garage was intentionally set.
During the course of the investigation, deputies received information that a teen living nearby was involved with setting the fire.
The teen is identified as 13 year-old Ethan Marsh-Hual.
Marsh-Hual was transported to the Santa Rosa County Jail. He is charged with Attempted Premeditated Murder (felony), Arson (felony), Burglary of an occupied Dwelling with $1000 worth of damage (felony), and Burglary of a Vehicle (felony).
Marsh-Hual was transported to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice in Pensacola, Fl. See attached reports for additional information.
