Major Crimes Detectives are currently working a death investigation at the Santa Rosa County Jail.
Shortly after 5:00 am, jail staff located Robert Shane Lucas, deceased in his jail cell. Detectives are currently working this case as a possible suicide.This remains an active investigation.
