2019 Santa Rosa Rookie Teacher of the Year

Santa Rosa Rookie of the Year 2019 Rafael Garcia

Santa Rosa County, FL – The Santa Rosa Education Foundation announced Master Sergeant Rafael Garcia (Air Force Retired) an Aerospace Science and Air Force Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps instructor at Gulf Breeze High School as the 2019 Santa Rosa Rookie of the Year during their Rookie of the Year Reception Wednesday afternoon. He was selected from a field of 33 educators with three or less years of teaching experience who were honored at this event.  The Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation presented Rafael with a $500 award.
