Could the next Edison Award winner be a business-savvy student from Pace High School Young Entrepreneurs Academy? See for yourself as students pitch their budding business ideas to a panel of investors in the YEA! Investor Panel on Monday, April 4 at 6 p.m. in the Locklin Tech Russell Center 5330 Berryhill Road in Milton. The first-ever “Shark Tank” style event is free and open to public.

If you have a hankering to be Pace’s version of Mr. Wonderful, tickets are available to win a coveted seat as a judge on the Investor Panel. The $20 purchase is tax deductible. All proceeds go to business start-up and will be awarded by the YEA! investors to the student businesses at the event. Up to four judge seats available based on the total funds collected:
  • $2,000 – two judge seats
  • $3,000 – three judge seats
  • $4,000 – four judge seats
“Our students have worked so hard on their products and ideas. The judges are really going to be excited by their innovation and creativity,” said Charlin Knight, director of Workforce Education for the Santa Rosa County School District. “We are hoping the community turns out to support their efforts and fund the dreams of our Pace High School budding entrepreneurs.”
