UPDATE: There has been confirmation that the 2016 Chevy Ambulance was vehicle 1. The driver of Vehicle 01 entered the intersection into the path of Vehicle 02 resulting in a collision according to the FHP report.
Last night at approximately 9:26 PM, a motor vehicle crash occurred in Santa Rosa County Florida involving two vehicles.
A vehicle was traveling southbound on Robledal Drive approaching the intersection of County Road 399 (East Bay Boulevard). Another vehicle was traveling eastbound on County Road 399 (East Bay Boulevard) approaching the intersection of Robedal Drive.
According to the FHP report there is no indication which is vehicle 1 or 2.
The driver of Vehicle 01 entered the intersection into the path of Vehicle 02 resulting in a collision. The front of Vehicle 01 collided with Vehicle 02’s left front. Vehicle 01 came to final rest facing north within the intersection. Vehicle 02 came to final rest in the ditch on the south shoulder of County Road 399 (East Bay Boulevard) on it’s left side facing southeast. All occupants were transported to local hospitals.
