The 3A state track meet qualifiers were announced Sunday.
Gulf Breeze has two boys and one girl on the list. Seth Massie qualified in three events — high jump, javelin, and pole vault (#1 qualifier). Finn Youberg will compete in the 800 meter run. Jordan Koepke made the cut in the 100 and 300 hurdles.
Fort Walton Beach has the largest contingent going — 11 boys and 4×400 and 4×800 relays. Distance queen Kambry Smith has three individual races and two relays for which to prepare. She is one of 15 Lady Viking qualifiers.
Choctaw qualified three boys and two girls for individual events.
Milton will send six boys and their 4×100 relay.
Pace will send 13 boys and their 4×100 and 4×800 relays. Francisco Ramirez has two individual events and a relay to run. There are two Lady Patriot qualifiers.
They will compete on May 8 (Saturday), too. Good luck at state!
