Eliceo Hernandez, 20, was arrested Sunday and faces charges for negligent homicide in the death of FWC Officer Julian Keen.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission Officer Julian Keen,30, was shot and killed Sunday. Officer Keen saw Hernandez driving recklessly , hitting a sign and driving away. Keen was off duty at the time and followed Hernandez.
When both cars stopped a conversation took place then shots were fired according to Hendry County Sheriff’s Office. Officer Keen died at the scene from his wounds.
Three suspects were detained by deputies and questioned. Hernandez was arrested and the other two were released.
