Bart Pullum a well known local businessman has just announced his endorsement of Rob Williamson for County Commissioner. Below is the released endorsement by Bart Pullum.
Several years ago Rob Williamson came to me and said he had a love for our community and was ready to serve. He ran a great campaign and was elected in 2014. I was graciously appointed to the Florida Transportation Commission in 2008 and served for five years working to make Florida’s transportation system better. After the election Rob came to me and asked if I would work with him on infrastructure and transportation issues. Rob and I traveled to Chipley where I introduced him to DOT management and staff. I also stressed the importance of having a presence in Tallahassee and DC for future transportation projects and ideas. Rob latched on to these ideas with a vengeance and has made great relationships with the right people in Tallahassee and DC. Because of Rob’s efforts we have a new designation of Hwy 98 being a part of the Strategic Intermodal System. This is a big deal. We now have the attention of FDOT in solving our Highway 98 problems. He also has been instrumental in starting the process for Community Access Roads. They connect current roads together making it possible for locals to travel through Navarre without having to get on Highway 98. Rob understands our transportation problems that we complain about day to day. He’s working hard to fix them. His experience in public office makes him invaluable to our community. That’s why I strongly support Rob Williamson as our County Commissioner.
