
University of Florida Extension and the Beekeeping in the Panhandle Working Group has once again teamed up to offer the 5th annual Beekeeper’s Workshop and Trade Show April 1-2 at the Washington County Agriculture Center, 1424 Jackson Avenue, Chipley. The activities will take place from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. CDTeach day and will include lunch.
This year’s event features: extended opportunities for hands-on and open-hive experiences, presentations on recommended beekeeping practices, interaction with expert beekeepers, commercial vendors of beekeeping equipment and hive products, as well as door prizes that will include one 10-frame bee hive box each day!
The registration fee until March 22 is $25 for one day or $40 for both days per person over 12 years of age and $10 per day for kids 12 years of age and under. After March 22, or payment at the door the day of the event, add an additional $10 per person.
