Can you ID?
On 4/18/16 at approximately 2330 hours, a white female suspect (Pictured)followed a 75 year old female victim through the Pace Walmart asking her questions about where different items were located. The female suspect continued to speak with the victim for approximately 5 minutes at which time the victim momentarily turned her head to look away. The female then grabbed the victims’ purse out of the shopping cart and ran towards the exit.
The victim tried to chase the suspect but was unable to catch her. While exiting Walmart, an employee who is also a senior citizen tried to stop the female from leaving store. The female pushed off the employee and continued to run out the door. The employee attempted to turn around to continue pursuing the victim at which time she fell to the ground.
The female suspect then got in the passenger side of a silver Buick (which was stolen from Oklahoma with a possible male driver) and left the area.
The two suspects used the victim’s credit cards and returned to Walmart at approximately later that same evening and stole the victim’s car. These suspects are also under investigation throughout the Florida Panhandle area.
Anyone with information related to the identity of these suspects are urged to contact the Santa Rosa County Crime Stoppers Program at 850-437-STOP. These individuals need to be apprehended and there is a reward of up to $3000.00 for your information if it leads to an arrest.
