Chief Danny Fureigh and his wife Shannon will support the Navarre Weekend Food Program and take the plunge on New Year’s Day at Navarre beach . Danny has been with Navarre Beach Fire Rescue for 7 years, and was promoted Chief for Navarre Beach Fire and Rescue last year. Prior to working with NBFR Danny was a Battalion Chief at both The City of Fort Walton Beach, and Walton County. Danny and his wife Shannon has lived in Navarre for 30 years. Danny Fureigh has been a Firefighter for 25 years and a Paramedic for 15.
Navarre is lucky enough to have The Weekend Food Program of Navarre.They help feed over 500 children from the Navarre area and the Pirate Plunge is an important fundraiser to help them continue the great work that is helping children in Navarre.
There is a new event for this year that is the New Year’s Eve Dinner/Dance at the Navarre Convention Center.
