Commercial Motor Vehicle Outreach and Educational Session (Securing Loads on CMV’s)

The Florida Highway Patrol’s Office of Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, Troop I in Milton, Florida is pleased to announce a commercial motor vehicle outreach and educational opportunity to summarize the topic of properly securing loads and dunnage on commercial motor vehicles. The goals of the session will include, but not be limited too; proper methods for securing loads to include freight specific categories, the inspection process and enforcement.

One of our key missions is to provide a safer and more efficient transportation system for the traveling public with a major focus on saving lives. Maintaining loads on vehicles is a primary element in this mission, both for the industry and the general public by keeping profitable loads on delivery vehicles until they reach their destination and keeping the roadway clear to prevent property damage and injury while maintaining the flow of traffic.

Motor carriers from all aspects of the trucking industry are cordially invited to attend. This will enable us to prepare a program suited for your specific needs.
