Commissioner Rob Williamson selected to attend NACo’s County Leadership Institute program

Commissioner Rob Williamson
The National Association of Counties (NACo) recently accepted the nomination for Santa Rosa County District 4 Commissioner Rob Williamson to attend the County Leadership Institute (CLI) program in June at NACo headquarters in Washington, D.C. Williamson will be the first commissioner from Santa Rosa County to participate in the rigorous program.
The institute, now in its fifteenth year, only accepts one nomination from each state. Total class size depends on number of nominees; there were just 25 participants in 2017. NACo’s County Leadership Institute is a four-day program offered in partnership with Cambridge Leadership Associates which aims to enhance the capability of county officials to identify and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges facing county government.
“It is an honor to serve Santa Rosa County at the County Leadership Institute and a great opportunity to gain experience that will help deliver improved outcomes back home,” said Williamson. “I look forward to learning more about the demands of personal leadership in a new era of government while extending the board’s collective network of peers throughout the country.”
