COMMISSIONERS INSPECT PROGRESS OF COURTHOUSE

On Friday afternoon County Commissioners visited the construction site of the new County Courthouse . Bryan Marlow is the superintendent of this project.

Commissioner Sam Parker said ” I am excited that this project is not only on schedule but on budget too. ” Parker also added ” I’m very happy to see this in District 1 which will benefit from the many jobs it will bring to our area.”

The County Courthouse project is expected to cost around 43 million to complete. The new courthouse will have 7 courtrooms , jury rooms , clerk offices , judges rooms , Public Defender’s and State Attorney’s offices. Opening of the Courthouse is expected in summer of 2022.
