Meeting with Santa Rosa County Commissioner Rob Williamson
Congressman Jeff Miller met with Santa Rosa County Commissioner Rob Williamson last week to discuss the status of legislation that Miller introduced, at the request of the Board of County Commissioners of Santa Rosa and Escambia Counties, to allow Santa Rosa Island leaseholders the option to attain fee simple title to their property. This legislation has passed through the House Natural Resources Committee, and Miller said ” I will continue to work with my colleagues to see it signed into law.”
In addition, Miller and Williamson discussed the implementation of the RESTORE Act.
Congressman Miller said “I thank Commissioner Williamson for his leadership in Santa Rosa County.”
