
Pace Arrest – Death Investigation
Early this morning (5/8/16) at approximately 1:30 am, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a complaint on Evelyn Street in Pace. The call was reference to an unknown distress.
Deputies arrived and were immediately approached by an individual who was later identified as Christopher Lynch, a 38 year old white male. This suspect attacked officers and had to be tased several times before being restrained.
It was then discovered there was a female lying on the porch with multiple wounds. The female victim was transported to a local area hospital.
The female victim later died from the injuries.
Suspect, Christopher Lynch remains at the Santa Rosa Count Jail with no bond.
