The date of starting to replace decking and planks on the Navarre pier will not begin until January of 2020 according to Roger Baylock.
The contractor will not receive the specially treated wood until Dec 16. Work on the decking around the store entrance and bathroom area will start in January.
It is not known when work on the pier itself will begin. The decking area will start in January. Mr. Baylock said he should receive an update from the contractor as to start time of the pier sections sometime in January,2020.
When the replacement sections for the pier start to happen the contractor will have 90 days to complete.
