Devin Wright and Rachel Leggett claimed the only “gold” finishes for Navarre at Saturday’s district track meet.
Leggett claimed top honors in the girls’ high jump (5 feet 3-3/4 inches) and long jump (18 feet 4-3/4 inches and another school record!) events. Wright won the boys’ discus with a toss of 158 feet 5-1/2 inches.
Those were three of the nine podium finishes for the Raiders.
Also medaling at the meet:
– Talin Griffin, 2nd in pole vault, 14-9.25
– Renee Harris-Toliver, 2nd in 200m, 26.75 seconds
– Boys’ 4×100 relay, 3rd, 43.81
– Girls’ 4×100 relay, 3rd 50.66
– Tyson Morgan, 3rd in pole vault, 13-3
– Jaden Rivera, 3rd in high jump, 6-1
