Drug House Busted

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit completed a year long investigation with a signed search warrant, executed on 5/17/17. 

Narcotics Detectives, working on citizen complaints, Crime Stopper tips and other intelligence executed a search warrant at 6451 Barnes Street in Milton Florida. Forced entry was made into the residence after knocking and announcing at the front door was unsuccessful. 4 individuals were inside the residence. 3 were immediately taken into custody. 1 male ran from detectives on foot but was quickly taken into custody after a foot chase. 1 additional arrest took place when the suspect drove up to the home with methamphetamine/ice in their possession.

Rodney Davis

Suspect, Rodney Davis, was taken to a local area hospital as he was unresponsive due to an apparent overdose which was in progress at the time of our warrant execution. Davis was kept at an area hospital overnight and was released late this morning. He was found to have 29 grams of methamphetamine/ice in his pockets prior to being transported to the hospital.

After securing all the individuals the following evidence was recovered from the residence. 

• Kitchen/Bathroom-Baggie with suspected methamphetamine residue, camo pill bottle under the sink with approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine/ice, (1) morphine 60mg, (9) Mylan (Alprazolam) 2 mg, (4) Alprazolam, 2 mg.
• Bedroom-spoons with residue, baggies, and unknown pill and owe (debt) sheet.
• Bedroom– .2 grams methamphetamine/ice, pill, drug paraphernalia, baggies and spoons.
• Bedroom– marijuana, drug paraphernalia, baggies and spoons.

All suspects were taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail.

Navarre newspaper reminds our readers that Rodney Davis is presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
