Our office received many calls about a red substance in the water around the Navarre pier.
Some thought it was red tide. Others thought it was transmission fluid from a bulldozer.
Well it was from a dye test that was preformed by the crew on the dredge boat to test for leaks from the pump used to send sand to shore.
The test was good and work has continued.
