The 505th Command and Control Wing held a farewell parade for retiring Colonel Kurt “K2” Koenigsfeld, vice commander, and CMSgt Anthony “Dupe” Duplechain, command chief, instead of a traditional farewell due to COVID-19 precautions.
1 SOW security forces and fire department along with the men and women of the 505 CCW decorated signs and drove to say farewell to Col “K2” and Chief Duplechain on Friday afternoon.
Colonel Koenigsfeld retires at the end of the month after 25 years of faithful service to the U.S. Air Force.
After 30 years of faithful service to the U.S. Air Force, Chief Master Sergeant Duplechain retires next month.
