According to a FHP report a fatality occurred last night on Interstate 10 , mile marker 19 at 9:21 p.m.
A 22 year old male from Crestview , driving a sedan was traveling east on Interstate 10 in the area of mile marker 19. The sedan he was driving failed to negotiate the curve and collided with the interior concrete divider. The sedan then re entered the inside lane of Interstate 10. The driver of the sedan then exited the vehicle and began walking around the vehicle.
A second sedan driven by a 30 year old female from El Dorado , Arizona was unable to avoid the first sedan and collided with the male driver who was standing outside the vehicle then collided with right side door area of the sedan.
The driver who was outside of his sedan was pronounced deceased on scene. The female driver is in serious condition, It was also noted in the FHP report that the female driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
