According to FHP report the fatal accident occurred at 6:37 p.m. This involved a pickup truck driven by a male age 78 from Baker, Fl. There was also a female passenger in the pickup truck also from Baker, Fl.
The other vehicle involved was a motorcycle driven by a male age 30 from Crestview, Fl.
From the FHP report
V01 (pickup truck) was traveling southbound in the left turn lane on State Road 85 and approaching County Road 188. V02 (motorcycle) was traveling northbound in the outside lane on State Road 85 and approaching the intersection. Witnesses on-scene stated the driver of the motorcycle had a green light for northbound traffic. The pickup truck turned left and traveled into the path of the motorcycle and collided into the motorcycle. The rider on the motorcycle was pronounced deceased on-scene. No injuries to the driver and passenger in the pickup truck. Charges pending the investigation.
