Santa Rosa County, Florida – On Monday, July 15, 2024, a fatal crash occurred on State Road 89 in Milton, Florida.
During the crash, Deborah L. Fiss, of Milton, was operating a 2012 Honda van southbound on State Road 89. The van traveled off the roadway onto the shoulder and overturned, ejecting the passenger, also of Milton. The victim was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Fiss was transported to Santa Rosa Medical. Florida Highway Patrol arrived at Santa Rosa Medical to make contact with Fiss and was observed to be under the influence of drugs.
Following further investigation, Deborah Fiss was placed under arrest and charged with DUI Manslaughter. Fiss is currently booked into Santa Rosa County Jail with no bond.
