The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the fatal stabbing of a teenage girl in Destin tonight.
One person is in custody in connection with the stabbing after deputies located a possible suspect outside a business on Highway 98.
Deputies were first called to an apartment on Mountain Drive around 7:40 p.m.
The victim was bleeding heavily and struggling to breathe. She was taken for medical treatment but did not survive.
UPDATE: The girl was 17 and a 22 year old male has been charger with murder.
