This morning at a press conference Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson discussed the findings from yesterdays shooting/stabbing of a family that was reported here. Erich Reitz age 29 was shot multiple times and killed by his father after both parents received multiple stab wounds according to Bob Johnson. Erich Reitz, a former Niceville Police Department officer, was terminated in 2018 from that agency due to psychological instability.
