Navarre Garden Club Workshop     
The Navarre Garden Club is “Mobilizing for Pollinators” by conducting a public workshop on Saturday, March 19.  This free workshop is scheduled from 10 a.m. till 12 noon at the Holley Navarre Senior Center. Master Gardener and author, Marie Harrison will be directing the presentation.
This workshop will assist individuals on developing a pollinator garden and assist with registering your garden. Handouts on how to plant a pollinator garden; build a bee box and avoid or limit pesticide use will be available.   Free milkweed seed for the Monarch’s host plant will be distributed and the program will end with a visit to the Panhandle Butterfly House.

The Navarre Garden Club is the oldest non-profit organization in Navarre, FL. We were organized in 1975, federated in 1976 and incorporated in 2005. Our goals are both educational and charitable. In addition we strive to beautify our community. This year our club celebrates it’s 40th anniversary. Two of the original founding members are still active in the club. (Sept – May). Our meeting starts with a social time from 8:30 – 9:15.  Coffee and tea are available.
