The McDonald’s restaurant in Navarre on Highway 98, a Costa Enterprise holding, is in the process of an extensive modernization remodel that will be revealed at a grand opening celebration in March 2017. Beginning from the exterior, to the vestibule entry, and throughout the entire restaurant, there will be a new look and feel with modern and sleek design, digital menu boards, free Wi-Fi, comfortable seating areas and many more special touches. Producing a positive economic impact in the Navarre area, the restaurant will employ approximately 90 people, with 30 – 50 new jobs anticipated to be created.

When the modernization is completed in March, a multi-level 1,100 square foot aquatic themed “Under The Sea PlayPlace” will be revealed with a dedicated toddler area, community sparkle tables, and touch-to-play interactive game stations for children of all ages. But what will make this space even more unique are the walls with sea murals, vibrant colors that “move” depicting an engaging and an active underwater life full of sea creatures, fish, coral reefs, buried treasure chests, sunken ships (U.S.S. Big Mac), submarines (Nugget 15), laser projection with lively digital characters, and more. Scuba divers with a unique “McSubmarine” will be suspended from the ceiling. Look close on the walls and one might even see a dolphin or two winding their way through the underwater scenery. There is no other restaurant in the Navarre area, much less in Northwest Florida, that can boast a children’s play area like the “Under The Sea PlayPlace” will be.
