This morning Daniel Taylor age 47 from Atmore, AL was driving his 2005 Chevy Tahoe Vehicle east on US-90 when it traveled onto the grass median approximately 2 miles west of Woodbine Rd. He then collided head-on with a guardrail which protects vehicles from entering the water between two bridges. Impact with the guardrail sent his vehicle into the air before entering the water. The Tahoe came to a final position of rest fully submerged in water between the two bridges.
Daniel was taken to West Florida Hospital with minor injuries according to a FHP report.
