A pair of touchdowns and relentless defense fueled the Gulf Breeze Dolphins to a 14-0 victory over the Tate Aggies.

Rain dampened almost everything before kickoff, but the on-field play — by both teams and on both sides of the ball — didn’t show many ill effects.
The Dolphins have a two-game winning streak.
Junior running back Troy Coughlin was a workhorse, running between the tackles for steady gains.
Sophomore Battle Alberson and senior Kaden King shared quarterback duties. But it was two touchdowns by Alberson — a short one to Brock Clayton in the first half and a bomb to Carson Hepworth mid-way through the fourth quarter — that lit up the scoreboard and secured the win.
Gulf Breeze head coach Bobby Clayton said the defense gave up less than a handful of first downs with a smothering 3-4 defense.
Tate’s head coach Jay Lindsey said the Dolphins shut down the inside running attack.
Gulf Breeze will host the Northview Chiefs next Friday. Kickoff at Dolphin Stadium is 7 p.m.
