Each year on the fourth Thursday in November, Americans gather for a day of feasting and spending time with the family. While today’s Thanksgiving celebrations would be unrecognizable to attendees from the original 1621 meal, Thanksgiving continues to be a day for Americans to come together and give thanks for another year.
