5 p.m. Report:
The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch area that is along the coastal area of NW Florida. This is outlined on the above map in dark blue. Winds could increase as the Tropical storm heads towards Tallahassee, FL.
The outer hurricane watch area has now extended to include Destin, FL.
If Hermine reaches winds of 75 miles per hour then it will become a Cat 1 hurricane.
Landfall is expected Thursday night.
Navarre Newspaper will be covering the Navarre beach area with video reports starting late Thursday afternoon.
