Melissa Severt 44 who was the secretary for the Holley-Navarre Fire Department was arrested Thursday for larceny and fraud.
Acording to the arrest report Severt was using the money to pay her bills.
Severt is being held at SRC jail on a 40,000 bond.
Navarre newspaper reminds our readers that Melissa Severt is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
