Navarre Newspaper has received hundreds of inquiries about how are the homes and condos on Navarre beach. Thousands of families visit Navarre every year so we took a drive around the island.
The good news is everyone now has power. The water has receded from the roads. I saw no roofs off. Very little structural damage to homes or condos. About 10 pumps for water removal from garages.
The Navarre pier and Broussard’s is open and Tom Thumb now has power and is open.
Most of the damage was not on the Gulf side.
