OCSO Investigators and crime scene personnel are on the scene of a homicide on Okaloosa Island. UPDATE: OSCO investigators are searching for a grey, 2008 Honda Odyssey van with license plate Y365RP. If you see the vehicle call 850-651-7400.
The body of an unidentified young black male was discovered around 11 p.m. on the northside of the eastbound lanes of Highway 98 near Princess Beach (about a mile west of Destin’s Marler Bridge). The victim appears to have been shot multiple times.
UPDATE 3 PM : Members of the OCSO Street Crimes Unit have located the victim’s van off Parkview Road Northwest in the Denton Boulevard area and backed up to the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course. It was spotted by a deputy around 1:30 p.m.
