HOUSE FIRE IN NAVARRE

House Fire Rescue

Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office Deputiesresponded to a fully engulfed house fire on Hidden Estates Circle in Navarre last night at approximately 11:30 pm. Upon arrival Deputy James Moye and Deputy Joshua Hargitt observed an unconscious and unresponsive female inside the home. Since the fire department had not arrived yet, both deputies entered the residence and pulled the female to safety, saving her life.

Deputy Moye and Hargett were able to get the female home owner to the front yard where she was treated by EMS, eventually regained contentious and was transported to a local area hospital. Both Deputies Hargitt and Moye were seen by EMS and were also sent to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

Both Deputies are doing fine.
