On 2/24/16 The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office was contacted in reference to the location of human remains. The location was at the clay pits in Milton.
The remains were identified to be those of Brad Christopher Mathews, 37 years of age from Milton Florida. Mathews was listed as missing-endangered inearly January and there has been an active investigation since that time.
The cause of death remains under investigation by the State Medical Examiner’s office.
