This afternoon a man was creating a problem at a Tom Thumb in Navarre. Located at 399 and Hwy 87.
The Sheriff Dept was called to the scene and it was discovered that the individual was under the influence of alcohol and that he was (under his probation agreement) not supposed to be drinking.
He was told that he was under arrest which according to PIO Shane from SRSO was then tassed. The taser did not have any affect so the police dog was released to apprehend the suspect.
The suspect kicked the dog but was subdued and finally arrested.
The suspect is on his way to jail with multiple charges.
