Open letter to the Community
Happy New Year 2016! Thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors who donated their time, talent and/or dollars to help support Caring and Sharing of South Santa Rosa County: Thanksgiving & Christmas Distribution 2015. The organization wrapped up another successful year and wishes to let you know they appreciate every thoughtful gift, time spent collecting, fund-raising and shopping in order to provide joy to those who needed the hope of the season and the benefit of giving hearts from their local community. It is never easy to say thank you to all of those involved in such an undertaking, without missing someone, a group, or a business. The words always seem to fall short to accurately express how grateful the organization is to everyone who helps… as seen on the clients faces at each Distribution when they receive your gracious donations/support – especially the heartfelt well-wishing notes tucked away in the food boxes by scout groups, for the major amounts of food donated, that continuity dedicate their time such as key groups and the many others who join in every year – thank you!
It is because of all of you that the non-profit in 2015 was able to help support some 200 families of which included 237 children, 120 teens, 45 infants, and over 325 adults/elderly from South Santa Rosa County. Nearly 730 individuals received Caring and Sharing services to make it a holiday season to remember. We thank you!
