Lex and the Luthors a Pensacola Florida based band packs a lot into their shows and will give you rock, hip hop, techno, 80’s and country. They have quickly become one of the Florida Panhandle favorite cover bands and you can see them this Friday night at Windjammers from 6 p.m.until 9 p.m. Admission is free!
Lex grew up in Birmingham, AL. Her mom a ballroom dance teacher and her dad a preacher always encouraged Lex so at the age of 5 she began playing drums . Lex started to sing at age 11, play guitar at age 19 and 2 years ago at age 26 the piano.
In 2013, while attending Auburn University, Lex began her music career by playing locally in the Auburn/Opelika area.
In 2019 Lex was selected as a contestant on the national television show American Idol. She made it through all three rounds in Hollywood week and was the very last out before Hawaii.

Lex is also a songwriter and her first EP was released in the Summer of 2019. Currently Lex is back in the studio recording new originals.
Lex has preformed in cities such as: Houston, Dallas, Roswell, Albuquerque, Scottsdale, Baton Rouge, Des Moines, Birmingham, and many more.
We asked Lex who are your musical influences ? “ Lady Gaga, John Mayer, and Russ have been my most influential, in all different ways. Lady Gaga, in that she bears her soul when she sings/writes. John Mayer in the the way that he communicates his feelings and emotions through his instrument, often without the need for words. And Russ has an ability to connect with his fans through his lyrics in a way that everyone can understand and empathize what what he’s saying. “
