The Pirate on the Panhandle, Inc. (a 501c3 Corporation) from Navarre are raising funds to benefit Santa Rosa County Sheriff Deputy Nic Hubbard and his family ~ Nic was recently diagnosed with Primary Refractory Disease Hodgkin Lymphoma (Brain Cancer). He and his wife Lauren and their one-year-old son are temporarily living in Baltimore, Maryland while he is getting treatment at John’s Hopkins. They are renting a house in Baltimore plus paying a mortgage here in Navarre and since his treatment is experimental, it’s not all covered by insurance. So the Pirates are raising funds to assist with Deputy Hubbard’s medical and family expenses.
