On 4/5/19 at approximately 10:00 am, Deputies with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic dispute at 7353 Munson Hwy in Milton. Initially this was a domestic incident between male and female.
During the course of the investigation, a male subject barricaded himself inside a trailer with a female. The male then armed himself with a bat, and refused to come out of the trailer.
Deputies negotiated with the male subject for approximately 1 hour. The incident ended when Santa Rosa Sheriff’s SWAT team members made entry and took the male into custody.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation. The female was unharmed during the incident.
