On Thursday evening Joseph Brooks Squirewill was booked into jail in Escambia County with the charge of negligent manslaughter.
Squirewill was driving the truck that was pulling 18 year old Christian Garner in a inner tube last Saturday evening from a retention pond into the parking lot at Maritime Park that resulted in Garners death according to Pensacola Police.
Squirewill has been released from jail on a 25,000 bond.
Navarre Newspaper reminds are readers that Joseph Brooks Squirewill is presumed innocent unless found guilty in a court of law.
