The lifeflight story we broke last night about the man transported sadly passed away. We are not releasing his name at this time.
It turns out that he was sitting on the beach when he saw the two children in trouble and went out to save them.
A 10 year old was on top of the man and was rescued along with the other person by two surfers.
A local hero gave his life to save others.
