The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday morning in the parking lot outside a business at 110 Amberjack Drive on Okaloosa Island.
Deputies say the initial investigation indicates two men got into an argument around 1:30 a.m. and one pulled a handgun. He shot the other man multiple times, then left the scene.
The victim, who was conscious and alert when deputies arrived, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
At last word the 43 year old man from out of state is expected to recover.
