State Representative Mike Hill is being investigated for a homestead exemption claim in Escambia County.
The home in question is located in Marcus Point subdivision which is outside of the district that Hill represents now in the Florida House.
A condo in Portofino is where Mike Hill rents in his district.
A statement will soon be coming from Mike Hills campaign manager to answer questions to those who are concerned .
Mike has stated in interviews that his wife is on the deed and his permanent residence is in his Marcus point home.
In other news the complaint about Doug Broxson has moved to the 2nd Circuit Court and is currently under investigation. The case is now in the hands of William “Willie” N. Meggs.
