MILTON ACCIDENT SENDS TWO TO HOSPITAL

On 1/21/2024 a Florida State Trooper was traveling southbound on Glover Lane, near St. Ann Avenue, when he observed a small Toyota pickup traveling northbound on Glover Lane at an excessive rate of speed. The truck was driving erratically out of it’s lane of travel according to FHP.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The FHP Trooper witnessed the truck exit the roadway to the right, and collide with a large tree on the shoulder of the roadway. 

Neither driver, male age 27 from Milton nor the passenger, male age 25 from Milton   were wearing their seatbelts, causing them to have serious injuries sustained during the collision.

During interaction with the occupants of the vehicle, the FHP Trooper identified the odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage emitting from the driver and passenger’s breath. 

Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to Sacred Heart with serious injuries.

Alcohol is a factor in this case, and an active investigation is being conducted.
