The Milton Panthers overcame a five-run deficit Monday evening to defeat the Navarre Raiders 10-7.
Panthers’ pitcher Jordan Raley took the hill in the bottom of the sixth inning but took home the win — his first at the varsity level.
Levi Hawley took the loss for Navarre, and their record now sits at 3-6.
The Raiders were cruising with a 6-1 advantage through four innings, but they hemorrhaged five runs in the top of the next stanza to even things up.
The Panthers — 6-4 for the 2021 campaign — capitalized on fielding mistakes again in the top of the seventh to cap the win.
Both teams play Tuesday. Milton faces Pensacola Catholic (6-2), and Navarre tangles with Pine Forest (1-6) which beat Milton last week 9-4.
