According to a SRSO press release on 1/21/2022 at approximately 3:30 pm at 9140 Hickory Hammock Rd. in Milton, Detectives with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office stopped a suspect’s vehicle matching the description of an individual involved an Indecent Exposure incident that occurred at the Walmart Supercenter in Navarre.
Upon further investigation, Detectives discovered that the vehicle, as well as the individual, also matched a description given earlier in the week regarding a sexual battery case (occurred on 1/19/2022 in Navarre). After the initial investigation, Paul Powell was arrested as a suspect in both cases. Powell is a white male, 60 years of age, residing in Milton, FL.
During the investigation, it was determined that Powell had served 20 years in Mississippi for Kidnapping and Sexual Battery. Powell is a registered sex offender with multiple felony convictions out of several southeast states for sexual offenses.

Greg D. Peebles, Gregory Daniel Peebles, Aaren George Powell, Joe Powell, Paul Joe Powell, Thomas Frank Taylor.
