If you have ever been to the Navarre fishing pier you have seen or know Pat Huggins. Patsy or Ms. Pat as most call her has been an inspiration to many a young angler who she has stopped to help or share a tip or two while walking down the pier to fish.
When the present pier first opened Ms. Pat cooked morning breakfast for the early risers. Her fishing knowledge is legendary around Navarre and if you ever have a question about what to use or what is biting just ask Ms. Pat.
This afternoon a few of her many friends came by the pier to celebrate Ms. Pat 80th birthday.
Navarre is so fortunate to have such a giving soul among us.
